Mold Ejector Pins is commonly plastic mold parts, used to separate products from the mold. The die thimble produced by cemented carbide can be used to pass long and fine holes. It is required to have high hardness, good toughness and hard breaking.
High speed steel SKH51, SKD61, SKD11 and 65Mn were usually used to make the ejector pins. The toughness of SKH51 is better than SKD61. Because of its poor quality and brittleness, the application of 65Mn is becoming less and less in ejector pins industry recently.
